Hand Care

You all love it when your boyfriend or crush holds your hand and whispers "Your hands are so soft" and you will probably think "Thank god cause I spent ages on them"
Well if you follow these 3 tips simple then your hands will be looking smooth, soft and delicate in no time at all.

Tip #1. Wash your hands often.
There's nothing worse then dirty or smelly hands so don't even think about go into that bathroom and use that soap. Water just doesn't cut it nowadays.

Tip #2: Moisturize!
Moisturizing helps get rid of cracked and dry skin and helps to smooth out wrinkles. Not to mention leaving your hands beautifully soft. If you want to have nice smelling hands, try a lightly scented moisturizer.

Tip #3. Smooth Non-Chipped Nails
Chipped nails make your hands look messy and uncared, to fix this just invest in a nail file.

Shaving...the Good, the Bad and the Ugly

We all hate having a carpet on our legs but what is the best way to get rid of hair?

Shaving:
the good: Its relatively painless and easy to do. You can do it at home and isn't expensive.
the bad: Only lasts from 1-3 days and if you don't do it carefully you might find yourself with a thin, majorly bleeding cut.
and the ugly : Irritation and ingrown hairs are two of the most common. Irritation leaves you with red bumps along your legs and can be quite painful. Ingrown hairs is when the hair curls round and grows back into your skin cause a red, pimple looking bump with is painful if you go over it with a razor.
Tips: Water and soap is a must. Dry shaving is NOT good for your skin and can cause irritation. Also make sure your razors are sharp if you want a clean, close shave and not a ragged one.

Waxing:
the good: Lasts from 3-6 weeks and leaves skin smooth. You can do it at home or at a salon.
the bad: PAINFUL!. This the biggest con of waxing but it can also leave you with redness for a while. A salon is also quite expensive
and the ugly: Can make your skin sensitive and if you chicken out and leave the wax on then it can leave your legs looking quite unsightly.
Tips: your hair needs to be quite long for the waxing to work and the skin has to be completely clean.

Hair Removal Creams:
The good: They work quite quickly and are inexpensive to buy. Lasts up to 2 weeks.
The bad: Your putting allot of chemicals on your skin so you skin may dry out and become tight. Applying it can be messy and the odour is quite disgusting.
And the ugly: Allergic reactions can happen, leaving your skin inflamed and red or a large rash.
Tips: Read instructions carefully and only leave it on for the time it says.

Exfoliation:
the good: its painless and you can do it anywhere, anytime. Its also quite cheap but i don't know how long it lasts.
the bad: It is quite course on the skin and you have to rub for quite a while before it begins to removal hair
and the ugly: Can cause a rash or irritation or both which is very painful.
Tips: rub in a circular motion and make sure skin is completely dry.

Well its seems they all have the good and bad sides (and don't forget the ugly!) so all you have to do is try and find the right on for you and your life.
Happy Hair Removaling!

Braided Bangs

One of the hairstyles going around at the moment in celebrities and the general public is the Braided Fringe.

Now to do this its important to know how to do a normal braid.

This was the best explaining video i could find but if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Now to get to the fringe braiding part. I decided to look for a video instead of explaining it in words as seeing it done makes its easier to learn. So after scouring the web for ages i finally found this video and hopefully it will help you to learn a braided fringe.

The hairstyle is great for the summer as it helps keep you cool and looks cute, and you can also carry it over to winter as it is great for when your studying as it keeps you hair off your face.

Mint Nails

The latest trend to descend the nail beauty ladder is georgous oval digits painted a mint green.

So discard your dark green colours in favour of a lighter green, called Mint or Spearmint Green

If Mint Green isnt your cup of tea then classic digits are also making a come-back.

Whether its the French Manicure or a classic Red make sure you have a gloss finish. A gloss gives a dewy finish resulting in your nails looking smooth and healthy.

If you want colour but dont want the whole digit painted, you could be inspired by a French Mani but with a twist. Leave your nail bare and just paint the tips a bright colour like the white in a French Mani. Finish by giving your whole nail a layer of a clear Top Coat.

Oily Bangs

Oily Bangs (fringe). One of the most annoying/disgusting things to ever happen to your hair. Looks and feels horrible. Ew.

The best way to prevent this abolishment is to wash your hair with shampoo every second day but what to do when you have ten minutes before you supposed to be meeting your friends at the shops?

Well, several magazines and websites suggest Dry Shampoo but i dont know bout you but ive never been able to find it at the shops so ive had to make do with what i could find.
I suggest Bi-carb soda (or Baking Soda).
Sounds pretty strange doesnt it? But believe me it does work, ive been using it for about a year now and it has never failed.

1. All you do brush your hair back from your face and sprinkle a bit of Bi-carb soda over the problem area.
2. Then using the tips of your fingers gently rub it into the roots of your hair. Make sure you dont use to much , a ten cent coin in your palm should be enough.
3. After youve rubbed it in, leave it for a couple of minutes (ideal time to do your makeup)
4. Now pickup your hairbrush. Closing your eyes, brush out the powder from roots to ends untill the powder is gone.
Huzzah! Your hair looks oil free.
FYI: Dont worry if your hair feels a bit wierd, its completely normal
